Kaidi Fan is a character designer and illustrator based in New York City. She is currently a third year student in the BFA Illustration program at the School of Visual Arts. Kaidi specializes in fantasy and sci-fi character design for video games. She hopes to create characters people can connect with and be inspired by. Some of her inspirations are characters she grew up with from Overwatch, Legend of Zelda, and League of Legends. She also enjoys illustration, animation, environment concept design, and 3D sculpting.

Kaidi grew up in Rhode Island and has a great love for animals, nature, and all things fantastical, which is reflected in her artwork. In her free time, she loves going on hikes, foraging mushrooms, taking care of (too many) houseplants, hanging out with her two cats and birds, and playing video games with friends and family.
